  • WILDHEART

Break out the hairspray and spandex, because Wildheart is bringing the glory days of glam metal back to Rockelingen! This Belgian band catapults you straight to the Sunset Strip of 1986. With their brand new record Wild ‘n Three (2025) under their belt, they are hungrier than ever. They’ve already proven at Alcatraz and as support for heavyweights like Skid Row and Y&T that they can effortlessly set a festival ground ablaze. Expect sing-along choruses, screaming guitar duels, and a show that drips with “good times” attitude.

  • IRENE KETIKIDI + BAND

    World-class guitar virtuosity!

Get ready for a masterclass in guitar playing! Irene Ketikidi is not just a guitarist; she is a phenomenon in the world of instrumental rock. This “shred queen” has been personally praised by legends like Steve Vai and Guthrie Govan, and that really says all you need to know. Together with her band, she delivers an energetic mix of progressive rock, fusion, and heavy grooves. Expect dizzying solos, but always in service of the melody. From her breakthrough hit “Rambler” to her more recent work on A Sky For All: Irene Ketikidi proves that instrumental music can sing, shred, and move you all at the same time. An absolute must-see for every music lover who appreciates top-tier craftsmanship.

  • THE FLYNTS

The Flynts are coming to Rockelingen with only one goal: to revive the golden years of rock ‘n’ roll. This quartet from Liège breathes the spirit of the 70s but pours an irresistibly modern sauce over it. Expect a steaming set where blues, psychedelia, and hard rock blend seamlessly together. With tearing riffs reminiscent of legends like Cream and Free, and a rhythm section that is solid as a rock, The Flynts prove that ‘old’ rock is far from worn out. Their live performances of singles like “White Lava” and “Sacred Flint” are pure dynamite. An absolute must for fans of top-shelf guitar work!

  • SIGNS OF ALGORITHM

Brace yourself for a heavy dose of headbanging! Signs Of Algorithm has been a staple of the Belgian metal scene for over ten years and knows exactly how to tear down a festival ground. Think of the brute force of metalcore, laced with groovy riffs and atmospheric melodies. With their brand new record Sunchaser under their belt, they are in top form. Having already graced the stages of Graspop and Alcatraz, they know perfectly well how to conduct a wall of death.

  • PAINTED SCARS

Painted Scars proves that hard rock today is still very much alive and kicking. With the charismatic Hylla on the mic, this Belgian band delivers a set bursting with energy and emotion. Expect heavy guitar riffs, a pounding rhythm section, and vocals that hit you straight in the heart. They combine the punch of bands like Halestorm with their own unique, melodic sound. Painted Scars comes to Rockelingen to prove that scars only make you stronger. Highly recommended for fans of powerful, modern rock.

  • STAVANGER

What do you get when you put four music addicts with a taste for the heavy stuff together in a rehearsal room? Stavanger! These guys breathe rock and have the stage experience to prove it. • MEATALLICA

Getting James Hetfield and co. to Belgium is priceless, but Meatallica is the next best thing. With their brand new ‘Obey Your Master Tour’, this tribute band pays homage to the absolute glory days of one of the biggest metal bands on earth. Expect a setlist that knows no mercy: from the raging riffs of Master of Puppets to the fist-pumping grooves of The Black Album. • BRUTAL SPHINCTER

Warning: not for the faint of heart! Brutal Sphincter is coming to Rockelingen to level the place. With their ‘goregrind’, they belong to the absolute top tier of the extreme genre, with shows at giants like Hellfest and MetalDays on their resume. Expect pig squeals, blast beats, and lyrics that shouldn’t see the light of day, all delivered with a massive tongue-in-cheek attitude. The goal is simple: total chaos and great vibes. Up for a party that goes completely off the rails? Then you belong in the front row.

  • CARNEIA

If there is one band that proves Belgian metal doesn’t have to yield to international heavyweights, it’s Carneia. With members who earned their stripes in bands like King Hiss, they deliver a sound that is both massive and fragile. Think of the mesmerizing rhythms of Tool, the melodic power of Soundgarden, and the raw energy of Mastodon. Frontman Jan Coudron captivates you with his unique voice, while the band erects a wall of sound that swallows you whole. Carneia at Rockelingen is not just a concert, but an intense experience that grabs you by the scruff of the neck and won’t let go.

  • EXPERIENCED?!?

With tearing riffs, raw vocals, and a rhythm section that makes the ground shake, they wrap any audience around their little finger. Whether you like heavy metal or classic rock: Experienced?!? serves it up hot and spicy.

  • TURPENTINE VALLEY

Turpentine Valley doesn’t need a singer to grab you by the throat. This Belgian power trio creates a massive wall of sound that balances between heavy-as-lead post-metal and dreamy post-rock. You might already know their dark sounds subconsciously: their songs provided the oppressive atmosphere in the Netflix hit The Twelve (De Twaalf). Live, their show is an intense trip: hard, slow, and ruthless, yet beautifully layered at the same time. Let yourself be carried away by the bass frequencies vibrating through your body and enjoy a moment of pure musical hypnosis.

  • TIM’s FAVOURITE

Tim’s Favourite cannot be pigeonholed. This power trio serves up a quirky cocktail of heavy guitar riffs and melodic hooks. They sound familiar yet completely innovative at the same time. Whether they dial it back for an atmospheric moment or go full throttle with pounding grooves: it remains captivating throughout. Tim’s Favourite is the perfect band for those who love rock music that dares to be just a little bit more adventurous.

  • MOKER

When we talk about consistency in the Belgian metal scene, we talk about MOKER. This band is a household name for those who love technical perfection combined with brute primal force. They combine the “groove” of deathcore with the speed of classic death metal. Their live shows are legendarily intense: vocalist Ad de Wachter and his cohorts always give 100%. For fans of bands like Dying Fetus and Suffocation, this is the act to look out for. Prepare for a sonic attack that will resonate for a long time to come.
